Another strike against Sony’s PS3?

Kotaku is reporting that Midway is struggling with the PS3 version of their soon to be released Alien/Sci-fi shooter, Blacksite: Area 51. The reported problems are apparently similar to what was seen on the PS3 version of Stranglehold.
“The PS3 version is experiencing issues and missed deadlines…Midway isn’t happy at all about the progress, and it’s a story I’ve heard over and over this year across the industry when it comes to the PS3 and cross-platform titles.”
Some are saying that the common factor here could in fact be the PS3 version of the Unreal Engine 3, but somehow I’m not so sure, I’m certain that many of you read what Gabe Newel(Half-Life 2) had to say about the PS3 in general. I can tell you one more thing, he’s not the only one bad-mouthing the PS3 at this stage, maybe based on his size he speaks a little more freely, but hey.
I just hope these sort of problems eventually get ironed out, the PS3 is an expensive console, and I’d hate to think that Sony dropped it’s prices just so that you don’t feel so bad about buying a sort of okay game.
